Learn how to use sustainability and innovation to strengthen your businesses and make Michiana more prosperous as part of the newly emerging green economy.

The Natural Step (TNS) is one of the world’s leading sustainability training organizations. Since 1989, TNS has helped hundreds of businesses and communities around the world harness the power of sustainability and innovation. Clients include IKEA, Nike, Starbucks and the city of Portland, Oregon. TNS offers a systematic approach through which business, government, and not-for-profits develop their own sustainability action plans. The workshop presenter is David Cook, Chief Executive of The Natural Step International and author of The Natural Step: Towards a Sustainable Society.

The workshop will provide the basic principles of sustainability and explain how to integrate them into your business or organization to gain cost savings, customer and employee loyalty, and competitive advantage. In addition, all participants will become part of a growing regional network dedicated to learning and helping each other along the path to sustainability and prosperity. Typically such workshops cost $175 or more per person but thanks to the generous support of community sponsors the cost to you is $35.00 (including lunch).
