Environment and Sustainability: a discussion on the significance and differences of the different certifications such as: FSC, SFI, PEFC, ECF, PCW, ISO, ESD, CSR, Green-e and wind power will include information on how they apply and are being implemented into current sustainability and environmental efforts in graphic arts manufacturing.
The presentation also includes insights into the importance of chain-of-custody, the new “triple” bottom line, and the reality of the post-consumer waste pyramid as they relate to paper manufacturing and the printing industry.
The third part of this discussion focuses on what content creators, designers, printers, and end users can do to drive change and be more “green” as well as examples of sustainability in activities that Sappi is involved in doing to drive our triple bottom line.
