Disposal Alternatives Organization is seeking 25 additional candidates to train for green jobs in its Career Training Institute and recycling plant.

Disposal Alternatives Organization
This program is funded by Community Action of Greater Indianapolis (CAGI) and is a partnership between CAGI and DAO.
So far in July, DAO  has recruited, trained and employed 50 people.  This additional 25 people will bring the total at DAO to 115 employees and interns in the first full year of the program.

DAO is broadening the training options. These will be stipend training programs where interns will receive living allowances.  Applicants must be at or below poverty level as defined by the energy assistance chart on CAGI’s website.
“The program requirements are 200% of poverty level but at DAO we seek out people who most desperately need a major change in their employability and an opportunity.  We give priority consideration to people with employment barriers, like a disability, a felony conviction, an addiction in recovery, a lack of education and we give priority to military veterans”, said Cal Hultquist, the founder of DAO.

Unemployed persons looking for a new opportunity need to visit CTI website, www.trainforjobs.org or contact Cal Hultquist at (317) 242-9077 After Wednesday, the applicants will be able to apply online.
