Trine to Receive Energy Efficiency Grant

To encourage industry and communities to reduce the use of toxic chemicals, the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) is accepting pre-applications for its 2010 Indiana Pollution Prevention Grant program until June 11, 2010. Any Indiana manufacturer, school, not-for-profit organization or community may apply for 50 percent matching funds to support projects that meet the definition of pollution prevention.

Ferdinand getting grant to purchase LED lights

FERDINAND, IN (WFIE) - The City of Ferdinand is receiving an energy grant from the state.
The Indiana Office of Energy Development selected the city to receive more than $20,000 to  replace the city’s light bulbs with new LED lights that last over three times longer.

Purdue Taking Part in Algae to Biodiesel Project
